According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/device-insight.com\/landing-page\/studie-internet-of-things-2019\/\" rel=\"noopener\">IDG study \u201cInternet of Things 2019<\/a>\u201d, 51 percent of companies currently rate IoT as relevant or highly relevant. The number of IoT projects has in fact doubled since the previous year.<\/p><p>However, the duration of IoT projects can often be very long \u2013 a continuing trend. Marten Schirge, Chief Sales &amp; Marketing Officer at Device Insight, recently presented in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerwoche.de\/a\/so-verkuerzen-sie-die-time-to-market-ihrer-iot-projekte,3547246\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">expert article in Computerwoche (in German)<\/a> how companies can effectively shorten their time-to-market with four tips. Instead, the functions of such a platform must be tailored to well thought-out use cases,\u201d advises Schirge.
