This year’s Hannover Messe (April 24-28, 2017) will focus on the value-generating opportunities offered by Industry 4.0. At the Bitkom stand (Hall 6, K01), Device Insight will show how companies can use targeted big data analyses to build completely new business models. The approach is based on CENTERSIGHT and CENTERSIGHT Next Generation (NG), the Munich-based vendor’s new microservice and cloud-based IoT platform. CENTERSIGHT NG is a new product featuring many technological and security-related advances which Device Insight will describe in detail at Hannover Messe 2017.
Up to now, the networked Industry 4.0 universe has been primarily defined by the optimization of maintenance and service processes. Device Insight, an IoT specialist, uses its CENTERSIGHT IoT platform to capture, manage and analyze all data streams in support of such processes. Analyzing IoT data can lead to new business models based on cost-reducing process improvements or realigned service offerings. The technology benefits industrial companies across all sectors, including machine and plant engineering, building technology, automation, vending, connected home, medical technology and energy management. In support of the various fields of application, CENTERSIGHT offers important core functions such as data analytics, condition monitoring, BI tools and reporting, remote service, alerting, locating and predictive maintenance.
Device Insight has enhanced its IoT platform in many new areas. The new features and services will become available from autumn and will be presented to the public for the first time at Hannover Messe 2017. With CENTERSIGHT NG, Device Insight is increasingly focusing on standard protocols such as MQTT and OPC UA. The open and unified OPC UA communication standard ensures compatibility between almost all IoT components and also works with services provided by the large public cloud providers.
“Over the past twelve years we have worked on a large number of IoT projects in medium-sized and large companies in a variety of industries”, says Marten Schirge, Vice President of Sales at Device Insight. “Our IoT expertise and deep industry knowledge has been recognized by the Experton Group, which awarded us the ‘Industry 4.0/IoT Leader Germany’ prize for the second time running. Our know-how helps companies get up to speed with Industry 4.0 quickly and effectively, thereby generating new opportunities for value creation.
