In its current special edition, FOCUS presents, together with Statista, Germany’s TOP 500 companies. The ranking lists companies achieving the highest revenue growth between 2013 and 2016. On average, the top companies recorded an annual growth of 57.5% and created around 47,000 new jobs.
With an annual growth of 53%, Device Insight reached 23rd place out of a total of 64 companies in the category “IT, Internet, Software, Services”. Not only was the Munich IoT provider one of only three companies able to maintain this growth pace over the years, it has also continued to belong to the growth champions since 2015. Device Insight rose even further by growing an additional 7% in 2017 compared to the previous year. In the overall ranking, the IoT expert was able to improve steadily – the Munich-based company climbed from 210th and 183rd place in 2015 and 2016 to 175th out of 500 in the latest ranking.
According to core findings of the study referring in particular to smart services, the biggest driver for growth and success remains digital transformation. “Industry 4.0 is relevant for everyone, covering the entire economic spectrum”, says Karl-Heinz Röhl, Senior Economist and expert on structural change at the Institute of the German Economy in the FOCUS report. As IoT pioneer and solution provider for Industry 4.0, Device Insight has continued to push ahead with the disruptive development.
