Microsoft Gold competency for cloud platform CENTERSIGHT

For Device Insight, its Microsoft partnership has paid off since the integration of its IoT platform CENTERSIGHT into Azure. Following its silver status, the Munich-based IoT pioneer has now achieved Microsoft Azure Gold Partner status – proof of extraordinary competence combining IoT and cloud.

In only 15 years, Device Insight GmbH has become a leading platform provider for commercial or Industrial Internet of Things (IoT/IIoT), maintaining its pioneer spirit along the way. By integrating its IoT platform CENTERSIGHT into Microsoft Azure, the Munich-based company was promoted from its silver partnership with the software giant, becoming a Microsoft Azure Gold Partner. As a Munich-based specialist, Device insight was therefore able to strengthen its position as an experienced Microsoft IoT partner in Germany and Central Europe.

Thanks to the Azure integration of its IoT platform CENTERSIGHT, Device Insight is able to offer its customers highly scalable IoT solutions, also allowing Platform as a Service, or PaaS, services such as Azure IoT Hub and Azure Machine Learning to be integrated, saving not only costs, but also simplifying the management of IoT applications and services. CENTERSIGHT’s  multi-tenancy capabilities, fully supported by Microsoft Azure, result in fast time-to-market and return on investment (ROI) for customers. Thanks to Microsoft Azure as a cloud base, B2B customers, using CENTERSIGHT, now have georedundant worldwide access to machine and process data allowing real-time instant analysis and evaluation.

As Gregor Bieler, General Manager of One Commercial Partner Organization and member of Microsoft Germany’s executive management, said back in the Fall of 2017, the intelligent use of IoT technologies would be a key factor in the successful digitalization of business models in all industries. “By integrating CENTERSIGHT NG into Microsoft Azure, our Microsoft Partner Device Insight offers its customers innovative IoT solutions optimally geared to their individual needs and desires” says Bieler.

“We are delighted that we have reached Gold Partner status after our silver partnership with Microsoft. This shows that we were able to understand how to pool IoT and cloud competencies”, says Reinhold Stammeier, Device Insight Managing Director, adding “the integration of Microsoft Azure and our IoT platform CENTERSIGHT, our core product, has primarily been of benefit to our customers who want to have location-independent access to and analysis of their valuable machine data.”
